2015 Repairs

This page contains information and updates regarding PRRMA roadway repairs for 2015.  Once construction begins, this document may be updated daily, so please check in often!

For an excellent document on the PASER system used to rate the condition of our roadways, please check this link:

04/16/15 The .pdf maps linked below show the scope of work for 2015. The PDF file labeled "Construction Details" is the multi-page file of the zoomed in view of what we typically show for our construction plans. The others are zoomed out for full size views of each subdivision and there is one large overall map of the entire site. Please note that some of these files are quite large and may take awhile to download.

01/14/2015 Here are maps depicting the 2014 condition of the roads within PRRMA:

05/17/15 Paving

Paving will start on Monday, May 18, 2015.  They will start on Summit, move to Glengarry, then Mornington, Innsbrook and Fountainview.  Same set up as with the milling.  They hope to be done Monday, but it may spill into Tuesday morning.

05/11/15 Road Repairs this week!

As part of the yearly Pheasant Run Roadway Maintenance Project, Nagle Paving Co., in conjunction with Canton Township and the Pheasant Run Roadway Maintenance Association (PRRMA), will begin asphalt pavement replacement starting Wednesday, May 13th, 2015.  This portion of the project will consist of milling and paving throughout the community's roadways.

Nagle will provide traffic control and barricading during the operations, but please be aware of the construction crews and equipment as well as other drivers and adjust your speed accordingly.  The process will involve milling the asphalt down a variable depth, cleaning the existing remaining asphalt surface, application of a "tack" coat and installation of a new asphalt surface.  This process should take approximately five days to complete.  All work should be complete by the end of the day Tuesday, May 19th, 2015 (weather permitting).  We will be milling all of Innsbrook, and parts of Summit Parkway, Glengarry, Mornington, and Fountainview wrapping up whatever is not completed on Thursday.  Paving is tentatively scheduled to take place Friday, May 15th through Tuesday, May 19th.

Please keep in mind that all work is weather dependent and rain events may affect the schedule of the work.

Please remove all cars from the street and turn off your irrigation system prior to Wednesday, May 13th to facilitate this work.  If we arrive and your car is in the street or your irrigation system is still on, we will not be able to complete this work.  You do not want to tbe the reason why we have to cancel operations for the entire community because of a car being in the way or a sprinkler system being left on.  Also, while we are working, you will be able to drive on the surface (or tack coat) if need be, but we recommend finding another route through the subdivision if at all possible during the work period.  Lastly, if you drive on the tack coat, it will wear off, but please do not walk on it as it may track into your home if it is still wet or sticky.

Please visit the PRRMA website often for additional updates and information.

We understand this is an inconvenience, but please bear with us.  This short term inconvenience will lead to long term improvements in our community.  You may contact Rob Wilson with Nagle Paving Co. at 248-553-0600, ext. 228 if you have any questions.

We hope to keep any inconveniences to a minimum.  Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

04/16/15 -- They will be starting curb removals and prep work in areas that are not in front of driveways tomorrow and curb and walk removal and prep work in all other areas on Monday.  They expect to have all of the curb and the majority of the walk work done by the end of next week if the weather cooperates.

04/16/15 -- Pheasant Run Roadway Maintenance Project

As part of the yearly Pheasant Run Roadway Maintenance Project, Nagle Paving Co., in conjunction with Canton Township and the Pheasant Run Roadway Maintenance Association (PRRMA), will begin concrete curb and sidewalk replacement starting MONDAY, APRIL 20, 2015.  This portion of the project will consist of removing concrete curb and gutter and / or sidewalk, replacement of the sidewalk or curb and asphalt repairs in front of the curb at various locations along the community‚Äôs roadways.

If work is scheduled to occur in front of your home, you should receive a notice.  Maps detailing all of the work to be done can be found on the 2015 Repairs page

Nagle will provide traffic control and barricading during the operations, but please be aware of the construction crews and equipment as well as other drivers and adjust your speed accordingly.

Please keep in mind that all work is weather dependent and rain events may affect the schedule of the work.

Please remove all cars from your driveway / garage and turn off your irrigation system prior to the start of work at your home to facilitate this work.  Once the concrete is placed in front of or in your driveway, you will need to stay off of it for a period of one week to allow it to cure properly and to prevent cracking.

Please visit the PRRMA website often for additional updates and information.
